ICCREM 2017 had been held successfully

ICCREM 2017 had been held by Guangzhou University in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China from Nov. 10th-12th, 2017. The conference was jointly organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, Guangzhou University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, also sponsored by the Construction Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Modernization of Management Committee (MMC) of the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA).

More than 130 scholars and business people from China, United States, Britain, Sweden and other countries participated in the conference, which was chaired by Professor Yongshi PANG of Guangzhou University. Vice President of Guangzhou University Xinwei YU and the chairman of ICCREM 2017 organizing committee, professor of Harbin Institute of Technology Yaowu WANG delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

The theme for this conference is “Prefabricated Construction and Construction Industrialization”. It especially highlights the importance of Industrialized and prefabricated technology for construction engineering and management, which are transforming the construction industry dramatically. ICCREM aims to create an international platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners from colleges and universities, research institutes, government agencies, consulting firms, construction companies, financial institutions and other related organizations to exchange ideas, share knowledge, build networks, and explore future potentials in construction and real estate industries.

Tiehong WANG (Principle of CCIA),Thomas Olofsson(Professor of  Luleå University of Technology ), Geoffrey Q.P. SHEN(Professor of Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Mohamed Al-Hussein(Professor of University of Alberta), Guiwen LIU (Professor of Chongqing University),Xiaolong XUE(Professor of Guangzhou University) and Bingsheng LIU (Professor of  Tianjin University)  had made the theme reports respectively. The conference also selected 12 excellent papers of the year with Best Paper Awards.
