Background
The 2026 International Conference on Construction and Real Estate Management (ICCREM 2026) is jointly organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University, Guangzhou University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture,South China University of Technology, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Chongqing University, Chang'an University, Umeå University (Sweden), Louisiana State University (USA), University of Alberta (Canada), Marquette University (USA), and Nottingham Trent University (UK). It is hosted by City University of Hong Kong. Supporting organizations include the Construction Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the High-Quality Development Research Institute of the China Construction Industry Association, the ECAM journal, and the Journal of Engineering Management. The International Conference on Construction and Real Estate Management has been held annually since 2003. The conference proceedings from 2003 to 2012 were indexed by ISTP or ISSHP, and those from 2013 to 2025 have been indexed by EI.
Meeting objectives
At the beginning of establishment, ICCREM tried to increase the communication of researchers and educators of construction and real estate. With the development of the meeting, ICCREM extends its responsibility and aims to create an international platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners from colleges and universities, research institutes, government agencies, consulting firms, construction companies, financial institutions and other related organizations to exchange ideas, share knowledge, build networks, and explore future potentials in construction and real estate industries.
