The 2026 International Conference on Construction and Real Estate Management (ICCREM 2026) is jointly organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University, Guangzhou University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture,South China University of Technology, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Chongqing University, Chang'an University, Umeå University (Sweden), Louisiana State University (USA), University of Alberta (Canada), Marquette University (USA), and Nottingham Trent University (UK). It is hosted by City University of Hong Kong. Supporting organizations include the Construction Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the High-Quality Development Research Institute of the China Construction Industry Association, the ECAM journal, and the Journal of Engineering Management. The International Conference on Construction and Real Estate Management has been held annually since 2003. The conference proceedings from 2003 to 2012 were indexed by ISTP or ISSHP, and those from 2013 to 2025 have been indexed by EI.

Publications

Conference proceedings will be published by ASCE Press. All accepted papers will be included in the ASCE Library database and submitted to EI Compendex for indexing. Abstracts should be approximately 150 words in length. Full papers must be written in English and formatted according to the guidelines provided on the conference website. Formatted papers should be no fewer than 4 pages and no more than 12 pages. Papers should be submitted electronically in MS Word format. At least one author of each accepted paper must complete registration and payment by the specified deadline for the paper to be included in the proceedings. Based on reviewers' evaluations, selected high-quality papers will be recognised as Outstanding Papers of the Year, and some will be recommended for publication in a special issue of ECAM following appropriate revisions.

  • 3 July 2026: Full paper submission deadline
  • 31 July 2026: Notification of paper acceptance (via email)
  • 14 August 2026: Revised paper submission deadline
  • 20–22 November 2026: Conference dates
